In the off chance that I look familiar, you may know me formerly as Stapecape when I was streaming on Twitch. I'm 31, live in Seattle, and I have a mind that will never quiet down, which is why I've created this blog and newsletter. I needed somewhere to dump my thoughts on media, experiences, content, etc. all while honing my writing ability.

I'm an avid fan of Magic the Gathering, which I'll likely post about here and there. I started playing EDH with my friends back in 2014 and have recently gotten into other formats like Pauper and Value Vintage. Other hobbies include being incredibly bad at bass guitar, amateur film photography, researching hyper fixations until they pass (my current one is digital audio players), LEGO, and weightlifting.

Meet Zagreus

Zagreus (or Zag, Tiny Paws, Mister Man, or Hell Prince Zagreus) is a 16yr old Russian Blue that we adopted from Molly's Uncle. He's a momma's boy through and through.

Meet Curly Joe

Curly Joe is 3 years old! We adopted him on his first birthday. He has a wild heart with lots of love to give! So much so that he's actually on prozac cause he can't calm down.

Meet Molly

This is my wife, Molly (aka StarshipGemini)! We got married on March 28th, 2026. We actually met through Twitch and started seeing each other long-distance. Molly is a phenomenal crafter, playwright, and content creator! Please check out her podcast, Codex Entries, where she co-hosts with our friend, Jade, as they go through the Dragon Age game series and discuss all manners of topic related to the games.
